An experienced software development professional, Gunnari Auvinen joined Labviva as a senior technical lead in 2020. He advanced to the position of staff engineer in 2022, then assumed his role as a principal software engineer in 2026. While at Labviva, Gunnari Auvinen has led a successful gap analysis that helped the company refocus resources and refine services, resulting in a service template that supports Labviva software developers with the rapid development of new services.
Gunnari Auvinen has also headed design sessions that culminated in the company’s new order processing system, which blends REST and event-driven architectures. His other achievements range from modernizing Labviva infrastructure to performing architectural planning and review initiatives. A few of his past positions include senior system integration and test engineer for General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems and staff software engineer at Turo.
Mr. Auvinen studied biology at Clark University in Worcester. He received an electrical and computer engineering degree with honors from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
